A growing cadre of “ex-Christians” insists that the God
of the Bible is ugly. “If such a god existed,” they say, “he
would not be worthy of our worship. We should despise and hate such a
monster.”
I believe that the triune God of the Bible is –
The most beautiful Being
The source of all created beauty
The objective standard by which all beauty

This site is dedicated to
displaying the beauty of God. As it grows, I plan to include reviews of relevant
books, quotations from classic authors, brief articles, and excerpts from my
book, The Beauty of God for a Broken World: Reflections
on the Goodness of the God of the Bible. The original subtitle was Theological
Reflections Fueled by the Passion of Jonathan Edwards, which is another
accurate description of its contents. The Forward was written by Dr. Samuel T. Logan, Jr. under whom I
took a class on the theology of Jonathan Edwards at Westminster Seminary. He
was also the dissertation advisor for my PhD. Dr. Logan is the International
Director for The World Reformed Fellowship and Special Counsel to the
President of Biblical Seminary.
In addition, the site contains some
audio sermons and a few other things I have written. Enjoy!
